I actually like the textures ^^ the way you cropped the scan is good too. I think perhaps a different font would add something extra, but I like the one you used too, as it is easy to read.
You ARE improving. That doesn't mean that every next thing you make has to be 'better' than the one before. You learn all the time right? And when you look back at what you made the month before you'll see a difference. A learning curve. So don't give up ^^

True, it's just tiring, I feel like I can't do anything well, and I want to find something I can actually be good in, and enjoy doing it

This is amazing here. Malificant definitely looks evil here. Great job and i love the scan and textures you used.
